1773-74 Hardiston Township
Formed from Newton Township in 1762. At the time these taxes were assessed in 1773 this it would have included
what is now Vernon Township.
1773-74 Knowlton Township
Formed from Oxford in 1764, both of which were part of the original Township of Greenwich.
1774 Montague Township
Formed from Walpack in 1759.
1774 Newtown Township
One of the original Townships in 1753, Newton would have included those townships now known as Andover,
Byram, Frankford , Hampton and Newton at the time these taxes were assessed.

Formed from Walpack in 1762.
